Fellowship: Every Friday at 7:00 PM
Each week we gather together for mutual encouragement. On the
2nd and 4th Friday of the month we will have a worship service. It is from
7:00pm to 8:30pm and consists of living worship, prayer and teaching from the
Word.
After the meetings we will have snacks available for those that wish
to munch and chat. We are currently meeting in the Upper Room (3rd floor)
of Rolla-First Assembly of God (1608 N. Oak St.). On the alternate weeks
we have a fellowship dinner in a home with international food. After the
meal we have group games that encourage relationships.
Relationships
This key
focus of Chi Alpha is relationships. Jesus taught that love was the
greatest component in our Christian walk.
One of our main goals is to establish a community that has genuine love as it's
primary ingredient. We hope to provide a "home" for those who are away
from friends and family. Through small groups, discipleship, and "fun"
events our hope is that relationships are made that will reflect God's love.
Discipleship
For those who
desire to learn more about God's Word, we have discipleship courses. These
are small group Bible studies (2 to 4 persons) that work through a curriculum of
sic booklets. It is an excellent way to build a solid understanding of the
Word as the basis for our faith. To be a part of these classes, send an
