At First Assembly of God, we believe that kids are special in the eyes of God. Our vision for children's ministries is: "Raising up the next generation to live in the word, walk in the spirit & pray without ceasing." Our children's pastors, Brian and Beverly Feller, have developed a variety of children's programs to meet the individual needs of each child.

Sunday Mornings

Kid's Blast

Kid's BLAST (Grades K-4th) a place for Biblical Learning and Spiritual Training! Kid's Blast meets every Sunday morning at 10:45 in Room 300 upstairs. We have exciting worship, Bible teaching, healthy snacks and a secure check-in/check-out system. Come see what God is doing in the children of our church! If you have questions please contact Pastor Brian.

Preschool (3yrs-K)

Our preschool program is designed to introduce the Bible into the hearts of children through the use of stories, singing, hands-on activities and crafts.  There are two preschool classes available every Sunday, one at 9:15 am and one at 10:45 am. If you have questions please contact Pastor Brian.

Nursery (0-2yrs)

Our Nursery Coordinator Cassie Lane makes sure that the smallest of our children receive the best possible care during both of our Sunday morning services and our Wednesday evening service. We have a secure, computerized check-in/check-out system with pagers for emergencies. For more information, or to volunteer in our nursery, please contact Kristen Schmid.

The Bridge (5th-7th)

For middle schoolers, we have a special class that focuses on "bridging" the gap between our children's and youth ministries. The Bridge leaders Ken and Elaine Harrison have many years of experience in children's ministry and challenge the students to mature in their relationship with Jesus, to have a heart for missions and to be students of God's word. For more information please contact Elaine Harrison.

Wednesday Nights (6:30pm)

Boys' Ministries

Boys' Ministry classes minister to boys K-7th grades through Bible study and memorization, devotionals, and Christian role models.  Dedicated leaders provide boys direction and guidance during weekly meetings. Please contact Brian Feller for more information.

Girls' Ministries

Girls' Ministry classes provide an environment of support and accountability while helping girls develop their gifts and abilities.  In addition, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage girls to be spiritual leaders. The girls classes are:

  • Rainbows (preschool boys and girls)
  • Daisies (Kindergarten)
  • Prims (first and second grade)
  • Stars (third through fifth grades)
  • Honor Stars (fifth grade girls working towards Honor Star Crowning)
  • Friends (sixth through eighth grades)
